Optimists

The Optimist Club of Moberly is proud to have as one of its members Bob Speer, who was Governor of the Missouri District in the 1972-1973 Optimist year.  Bob has been a member of Optimists since January of 1951, with perfect attendance throughout that time.  He had been a member (and Distinguished President) of Optimist Clubs in St. Joseph, Missouri, and in Rogers, Arkansas, before joining our club on December 10, 2002.  Pictured above are Club President David Haley, Bob Speer, and Zone 1 Lieutenant Governor Erwin Neighbors in the spring of 2003.

Taking the Oath of Office at the Annual Banquet on October 5, 2004 are Mark Nichols, Elmer Orscheln, Merrill Finley, Tom Anderson, Dennis Berding, and Lloyd Ornburn.
